Tonight, Sailer's Mur and Mimi came over to spend the night with her, so that we could have a date night. Sailer is obsessed with Mur's glasses, so she went and uncovered her Harry Potter specs so she could have some too. Doesn't she look so nerdy?? Cracks me up!

11 Dec ~ Painful Love

10 Dec ~ Homemade Princess

My little girl woke up sick this morning, so no school for us. It's a pj/naked day here. One of her ailments is a sore throat, so we decided to make some warm hot chocolate to make it feel better.She already looks better...lol. She doesn't usually get chocolate at 10 in the morning! (=


A little bit later this is what I found.... what the heck? First, she was without pjs. Second, she has robed sweet Lincoln in toilet paper. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was making a crown for Prince Lincoln. (=
She then proceeded to make her own crown.
Love that crazy little girl!!

9 Dec ~ Sailer's Gymnastics Observation Day

Today was SOOOOOOO sad for me. I have the flu. I am miserable. And more so b/c today I had to miss Sailer's parent observation day. I have NEVER missed one thing of hers... not a class, a doctor, a playdate, etc., so I was heartbroken the entire time. I pretty much cried the entire time she was gone. Luckily, her daddy was well and so he took her. I know she thought that was special. And thank goodness for sweet friends who took LOTS of pictures of my sweet little girl for me... it means more than you know!! So here you go.... my little gymnast in action.

And finally.... another one of my sweet girlfriends went to the store and brought Sailer some fun goodies and this flower and Tinkerbell balloon to celebrate her big day.... because they knew I would've made a big deal out of it and I was stuck here. Love you K!

8 Dec ~ Bootie Dance

For the last few days, when I tell Sailer I'm going to take her picture, she says "do you want to see my bootie dance?" What in the world?? And where in the world did she learn that?? Anyway, here's the little shaker rolling up her sleeves getting prepared.......and here she is in action. She thinks it's hilarious!
And oh, the beautiful smile makes another appearance.
Once we dropped Sailer off at school, Mr. Linc and I headed to Target (in my old hood.... there's is SO much better than the one close to me now... sad). Anywho, here's my little man in his first ride in the cart.
Didn't last long??? Ha ha. Isn't he adorable???

7 Dec ~ Santa's little helper

....that's good, because she is definitely not mommy's helper! She is her own little tornado. Gotta love her. This is her new smile. Isn't it beautiful? Seriously.... lol.

4-6 Dec ~ Sin City, Baby!

Seriously, I had a TEAM of helpers breakdown the party and clean-up in record time, just so I could make a mad dash to the airport to catch a flight to Vegas. My hubby put together a couples weekend in Sin City and pulled out all the stops. We had an absolute blast!! We stayed at the Wynn (would HIGHLY recommend it), ate at incredible restaurants in private rooms (somehow my man even thought about the details...lol), the men golfed, the women were pampered, we all gambled and parties too hard.... but the highlight of the weekend and the real reason he planned the trip was to see Ron White. Those who don't know him... he's completely irreverent, but we adore him. Anyway, we had tried to see him locally but couldn't get tickets, so we found his next show was in Vegas. That's all it took. We were off....

Day 2.... Christy and I pretty much checked into the spa for the afternoon and then, headed for a late snack, shopped, gambled..... mommy loves her slots.... and then, hurried to get ready for the nighttime festivities. We had a blast together.... thank the Lord she went with me!
