Just because...

Sailer LOVES to plan in the front flower beds... pulling flowers, playing in the dirt, just enjoying the outside... and I love to take her picture, so it works out great for both of us! (= This was just a morning in the flowers... for no reason at all. She's so beautiful to me.

Hook 'em!

Just for Uncle Rhett- Sailer donned her Texas tutu dress to dinner in honor of the big gameday weekend. This is her new thing to do...curtsying. Such a little lady...um, not.Trying to shoot her "hook 'em horns" for the camera...

17 Oct ~ Buttefly Flutterby

Today was Grapevine's Butterfly Flutterby, which is absolutely adorable and such a fun event! The Monarch buttefly's migration pattern goes over the city, and they make a huge deal out of it. There were TONS of kids and pets that dressed up like butteflies... it was amazing how many people were there!! First things first, here's my precious little Monarch butterfly...

A few butterfly hugs between friends... My sweet little man wasn't paying that much attention to the fanfare.
The pets were by far Miss. Sailer's favorite part... the puppies galore!!

And then, the sweet girls in the parade:

{I need to include that at one point during the parade I was trying to get a shot of the girls and was running backwards...I almost took out a small child in my attempts and then, fell on my tush HARD! LOL!}
the girls also got to ride the ponies which Sailer kept telling me, "my pony cw-Azy, mommy, cwazy!!!"

But one of the coolest parts of the whole day, they give each parade participant a real live monarch butterfly to release into the wild (it's in the white envelope). The girls were absolutely LOVING it!

Can you believe it flew right up to her and landed on her flower?? {this is my absolute favorite picture!!}
Then the crafts:
BUT the best for this mama was the fact that at the end they announced the overall winners of all the kids' costumes and my little butterfly won FIRST PLACE out of everyone!! She was so funny... she'd hit her "wall" and was fussy, so as I was taking her up to the stage to receive her prizes and ribbon, the announcer said, "she's so happy, she's crying!!" LOL!

16 Oct ~ Sailer's First {Non} Slumber Party

Tonight Sailer had her first {non}slumber party... Halloween-style! She had 4 of her uuber cute little girlfriends over to celebrate. Pure cuteness doesn't even cover the night!! They were absolutely adorable!

These were the helpers that made the night possible... especially Haley!!The party room:

Festive little party favor buckets:
And some little sweets and fun sippy cups:
Sailer and one of her besties sporting their matching pj's...Miss. S thought it would be fun for everyone to match. Check out the awesome bows master crafted by Mommy's sweet friend, Jenny, that matched perfectly!! She can do ANYTHING!!!
Crazy girls running in circles!

The one hiccup of the night... half of the haunted houses were pre-made while the other half we had to make... they were a little rough!
Hence...
Dinner time with the girls:

And now comes the Haunted House decorating... purely crazy messiness!

Now it's playtime...
And jumping...crazy girls!

They ended the night laying on a big palette in the living room under the covers with their Halloween flashlights in the dark! Aren't they so adorable?!?!

Mr. Linc made an appearance:

Hope trying out the baby toys!

They made their own tent:

My two precious PJ babies!
