5 January ~ Lazy PJ Days

This post is specifically for my sweet friend, Jennie, who called today about the fact that Sailer and I always seem to be "put together" every day in our pictures. As I explained, I'm not going to post the "I was too lazy to get out of my pj's and shower today pics" on the blog. But just for you.... this is a picture of Sailer from yesterday. Time stamped at 5:30 in the afternoon. No bow. Hair matted and stuck together from where her sucker had previously been stuck. Sticky snack residue caked on her face. Pajama bottoms still on. Unfortunately rolled over b/c she's vertically challenged like her mama. No shirt... that got lost somewhere in the mix (probably due to her blowing bubbles with her apple juice and soaking it). No need to find a replacement...it's just going to have the same fate as the previous one. And hidden behind the toy would be one foot with a sock, one foot without. Who needs both anyway? Not to mention, her hands are a lovely shade of hot pink. That would be from the red marker she decided to decorate my hallway wall with. This is all to say, Sailer might be a princess a lot of the time, but she sure can do a mean hobo imitation as well.

And fyi...although I seemed to keep my shirt and both socks on, I too was still in my pjs at 5:30. A little sad but kinda great when you take off your pjs from the night before, shower, and immediately put on another pair.

Who knew Sailer was a normal, sometimes messy toddler!!! :) I love the pic - and so will her future hubby one day...We find out boy/girl tomorrow. Yay! It is terrible having to wait this long. Love the NY resolutions.....good luck with them all!!!

I LOVE IT!!!!! Yes, I too was feeling a bit inferior to you, what with the outfits, jimmy choos, beautiful etting for 16 at Christmas, not to mention you're preggo and still have the energy to actually do it all yourself! Nice to know you are human ;) Love ya!

This post is so funny - you made my day dear friend! Thanks for the pep talk yesterday too. Avery and I did actually get dressed today to run some errands. We made it to Walmart and the grocery store. Nothing exciting, but at least we got out. Thankfully, I will be able to tell Avery someday that I took her to Nordstoms long before I ever took her to Walmart!
