7 Sept ~ Pure Romance

Today was the last official day of our trip, and it was definitely bitter sweet! It was so wonderful... one of the most romantic dates ever and then, a little sad that it was our final day in paradise... then, exciting because I was going to get to see my babies soon! Crazy how life changes and priorities are reevaluated once kiddos come into the picture.

Today we woke up and had a great brunch, then, headed straight to the beach and parked ourselves under this...

and after failure to put on sunblock... and getting "greased" up with after sun aloe, he decided he looked like a body builder.... crack me up!!

After a little relaxing, we headed to one of the most romantic dates ever!! I set it up beforehand where the hotel set up a tent on the beach and served us dinner by candlelight right on the beach by the water... just the two of us. Can we say heaven?? What was so fun is that there was a wedding at the hotel beside ours and so they came to the beach to take some quick photos (you know I loved that... given that I'm obsessed with weddings... or used to be anyways), and their professional photographer came over and apologized for interrupting our perfect date... and then, took pictures of us! I haven't gotten them back yet, but can't wait!! (= What was even more incredible (besides the perfect sunset) was that the food was the best we had on our trip bar none. It was a perfect end to a perfect trip. It was exactly what we needed and I'm so grateful for it.
