The second day in the hospital we mostly just hung out... and Lincoln got to meet some of his new adoring fans. (= Ok- he's the best baby ever... he never cries! It's pretty amazing to me (and I know, very lucky)...he just kind of whimpers when he's hungry, which is A LOT!! And he lets his big sis beat up on him without a fuss. Hopefully this perpetually good mood will last.
Let me introduce you to one of my new most favorite things in the world... Lincoln's dimples. I didn't notice them the first day, but today, he seemed to smirk at me and OMG, my heart literally melted. He has two GIGANTIC dimples perfectly centered in his cheeks. I swear they are the cutest things I've EVER seen... the girls are not going to stand a chance when they see those. (=
As for Sailer, she absolutely adores him.... a little too much, I'm afraid. She constantly wants to hold "her baby," wrap him in blankets usually covering his face, and is obsessed with making sure he has a paci. All in all I'd say she's doing as well as any 2 year old could do when finding out they might not be the center of the universe.
It probably helps that Lincoln is so thoughtful... he leaves her presents all of the time.
